A Forgotten Leap

Truth, Perspective, and the Faith of Modernity

The Architecture of Meaning

An Initial Attempt at Articulating the Inner Workings of Human Meaning

The Duty to Be Idle

Russell, Marx, and the Modern Malaise of Working

I find it rather interesting how we still struggle with the same issues Bertrand Russell wrote about almost a hundred years ago. While we work harder than ever, it feels like the fruits of our labor are still slipping away.

Approach

My work bridges ancient philosophical wisdom and contemporary experience, drawing from Aristotle's virtue ethics, existentialist thought, and modern critics of society like MacIntyre and Byung-Chul Han. I reject purely abstract philosophy in favor of starting with life as it's actually lived.

Rather than offering simple answers, I aim to illuminate the structures that shape human flourishing—or its absence. Through concrete examples and accessible prose, I explore how we might understand and respond to the particular challenges of being human today, especially around questions of meaning, virtue, and the alignment between our inner lives and external circumstances.
